Was searching the Internet for my pal Loretta of Regina SK. Her name turned up in a website for Air Force Women Asscn.
Among the dead, she was listed as having died in 2007 in Delta BC. We didn't even have time to have one last draught of beer.

Just retired from DFAIT after more than 32 years.

Was working in Labelle (bldg by St.Laurent) with the team on Signet renewal (C-5).

On the 5th floor there were still a few old CM coming true. Also worked with Bob Hutchins who went out to Delhi, possibly a last posting.

If GOD smiles on me, this will be my last dodo/winter in Ottawa, and by next spring I will more along the shore of Lake Erie.

Anyone around there: Kinsville, Leamington, Wheatly, Port Alma, Port Crewe?

I used to repair BID610 at SSU Woolwich. I also repaired other equipment which may not yet be declassified and as a "civvie" took the record for the highest exam mark on a training course from the RAF (I was deducted 2 marks for being a smartass so ended up with 98%).
